See Clearly, Learn Brighter

Lucy, one of the Charity Supporters raised money in 2025 to travel to Nepal to test the eyesight of all the children at school. She also tested eyes for the teachers as well and in the process she identified many children who could not see properly without glasses. Thanks to donations to her project she was able to leave free glasses for all the children who needed them. We aim to make this a regular activity for the charity. If you can’t properly it is very difficult to learn.

Unlocking Potential

Provide stationary for a class of children, by ensuring that all children have access to vital stationary at school, whether they have a sponsor or not. Maintains equity amongst the children and reassures the teachers that they have the equipment they need.

Sponsor a Sustainable Future

A regular activity for NEES is to donate a small herd of goats to the village. These goats are donated on the understanding that they will breed kid goats from the original group and give them freely to other villagers to give a goat’s milk supply and later on food for the whole village. This project has been an extremely effective way of helping to stabilize food supplies and give the villagers the means of being self-sufficient on their small holdings.

Empower with Knowledge

A group of girls from VSN school have taken on the task of teaching local girls about menstruation and correct hygiene. They are also raising money for sanitary products and hygiene kits for free distribution the local community. Any donations will go towards the purchasing of these products

Hope for Young Hearts

Special help for children affected by the 2024 landslides and floods, many of these families lost everything in the aftermath of the floods, our aim is to help these families to get back on their feet, and in doing so, help them to support their children.

Ready, Set, Learn!

Start up education pack for little children just starting school. Often small children arrive at school with nothing, even shoes. Certainly helping the parents understand what is needed for a happy and successful life at school is key. Our start up packs contain all the essentials to give a head start to small child on their first few weeks at school.
